July 14, 201412 yr I don't like it when waitresses call me sweety or baby. I'll tip you well if you bring my food and refill my water, not if you flirt with me. Hon, you'll eventually reach an age when those appellations are much appreciated.
July 14, 201412 yr What is that? Check this out: Rollin' coal trend has big trucks blowing black smoke all over Prius - Orlando Sentinel I don't understand the mindset of these people. So you don't want to do your part to conserve fuel and lower emissions. Why does it bother you that other people do and make you want to target them?

So you don't want to do your part to conserve fuel and lower emissions. Why does it bother you that other people do and make you want to target them? Oh wow! I saw a truck that was modified like that last year in Southern Indiana. I couldn't figure out what the heck they'd want their truck to bellow out black smoke like that. And it was obviously modified because it had twin "chimneys".
July 14, 201412 yr People who use dominate as a noun. The word you are looking for is dominant and I am getting tired of correcting you! :lol2: Thank you! Oh how that drives me crazy.

July 14, 201412 yr Backseat drivers. Also, say you're in a car of 4-5 people, and one person likes a different genre of music than everyone else, yet they control the radio/cd and play only what they like.
July 17, 201412 yr What happened to showing up at the park, shooting for teams and playing? Kids today show up thinking they are the "Big 3" which totally screws things up. We needed 8 to play had 12 and it took 15 minutes to start playing since buddies didn't want to be seperated.
July 28, 201412 yr My newest pet peeve is people emailing me asking to call them. You have my number, you want to talk to me, you call me.
July 28, 201412 yr Motorcycles that are so loud you can't hear inside of your own car. Same thing for boaters that have a captain's call straight exhaust. They are launching their boats and I can't even hear if mine has started. Cumberland is the worst for this. My kids and I just look at each other and wonder if they are over compensating for lack of other things?
February 5, 201511 yr #1. Not all hearsay is inadmissible in court. I've had people try to correct me on this. I'm not the smartest dude in the world, but trust me when I say that not all hearsay is inadmissible. #2. Pull up reasonably close to the car in front of you at a stoplight. Some people need to get around you to make a right turn, and when you stop three car lengths behind, you aren't helping them. They are quickly tapping their horn to ask you to move up, so when you flip them off and don't move up for no reason other than they called you out for being inconsiderate and gave you a quick tap asking you to move, you are the jerk, not them. #3. When you are debating or arguing, there are moot points and there are mute points. Moot points are basically hypothetical because they are irrelevant due to lacking an present issue to decide the issue solely on basis of. I have no clue what mute points are, but tons of people talk about them.

Move up and let someone else get through the light you just came through or like you said, so others can move up and get into the lane they need. Drivers are so oblivious to what's going on around them.
February 5, 201511 yr Haven't seen this thread in awhile. Can somebody tell me the difference between a "pet peeve" and a "rant"? I've having the kind of day where I want to do one or the other, but I want to also categorize correctly.
