June 11, 201412 yr Bad news for Heat - 30 of the last 36 winners of game 3 won the series. Good news for Heat - They lost game 3 last year and still won the series. Spurs played arguably the greatest first half in NBA finals history and then stayed solid the rest of the way to get the win. I believe at one point in the first half the Spurs were 19-21 from the floor.
June 11, 201412 yr Spurs offense in the 1st half was like a clinic. I think it was somewhere in the 2nd quarter, the Heat were shooting 59% from the floor for the game .... and losing by 20 points.

June 11, 201412 yr It was. That's what I thought. Most impressive thing IMO was they dismantled them in Miami. San Antonio just needs to hold serve at home now. Numbers say they should be able to, although I'm sure neither team wants to see a game 7.
June 11, 201412 yr Leonard was all over the court on both ends. After a great first quarter, LeBron really seemed to be kind of passive all night. He didn't play bad by any means but definitely not to the level of greatness people are accustomed to seeing from him. A big thing the Spurs cut down on was turnovers. They had quality, open looks all night long. Game 4 is officially a must win for Miami.
