Hilary Clinton says her family was broke when they left the White House

Hillary Clinton Claims She and Her Husband Were ?Dead Broke? When They Left the White House ? See Some of the Numbers for Yourself | Video | TheBlaze.com

Was this a smart statement when it's obvious it is easily proven false. Clinton's are usually much more calculated and intelligent than this. I get what she was trying to do , relate to the common man like they had the same struggles. But anyone with a half a brain knows the Clinton's don't have the financial struggles of an average American.

I'm sure they could've borrowed some money from Monica.

Well, had Gore never invented the internet, Bill would have never discovered internet porn and blew a small fortune. So it's all Al's fault.

They may have had outstanding legal bills, but having bills aint dead broke when your net assets as reported in 2000 were between $800K and $1.7M.

Plus as soon as he left office Bill started dragging in HUGE speaking fees all over the world, making $89,000,000 since leaving office.

Her saying they were dead broke is as offensive to those of us trying to support our family every day as is the way she changes the way she speaks at some speaking engagements.

Child, please!

But I guess when things at the homefront aren't happening and you have to pay for certain things with as healthy of an appetite as Willie Jeff, I guess you could get into some financial difficulty.

Who ever completed the Clintons blind trust after Foster died must have done a lousy job. They put about a $1M into the trust at the start of one of the best 8 year runs in the market.

Well, had Gore never invented the internet, Bill would have never discovered internet porn and blew a small fortune. So it's all Al's fault.

There actually some horrific rumors as to what he does instead of watching porn on the internet with good friend Jeffery Epstein on his Private Island.

It is just ironic just so short removed from the 1% debate. Bill Clinton made 416k his last year in office , ignoring all other assets they are still in the 1% . So Hillary wants us all to believe they were dead broke ? It is just a stupid lie to make .

As I recall, she signed a book deal before they left the white house, giving her an $8 million advance.

How could they POSSIBLY be expected to live on that paltry amount?

Rand's response:

“I mean, there is a lot of Americans struggling, if she wants to come to Eastern Kentucky to my state and talk to miners who are out of work and see the despair in their faces and talk about her personal plight as being the poor spouse of a president, she is welcome to take that message around the country,” Paul explained.

“The sad song of her reporting her personal financial difficulties and the fact that she hasn't driven herself in a car in 17 years, it doesn't sound like she’s going to connect with a lot of the Middle Class,” he said.

“I think she’s going to have some surprises when she gets out of her limousine and meets the American people,” he said.

Rand Paul to Hillary: Take your 'sad song' of financial difficulties to the American people

Ouch.

I hope she didn't have to sleep in her car.

Or clip coupons.
