June 2, 201412 yr We have a 7 night in October with stops in Coco Cay, St. Thomas and St. Marten. I just wanted to hear from those that have been.
June 2, 201412 yr No, but I'm leaving in 20 days for St. Maarten. I'll let you know how it is when I get back! We are flying though; no cruise.

June 2, 201412 yr haven't been on that one but went on a cruise just about 10 years ago that was Royal Caribbean and I think they are a great cruise line.
June 2, 201412 yr I have not, but I just went on a cruise through Carnival last month and it was the best vacation I've ever had.
June 2, 201412 yr I took a cruise with Royal Carribean, don't remember the ship name but it wasn't the one your taking, was on one of their older and smaller ships. Just took a 3 day cruise to see if we liked it. Coca Cay is really nice, easily the best stop on the trip. Nassau was pretty boring and kinda dirty. The cruise wasn't bad, but I think I prefer the all inclusive resort route better.
June 2, 201412 yr Love cruises. Been on one RC to Cozumel and Key West, and then went on a Princess Cruise to Alaska. Both were outstanding, just pure relaxation.
June 2, 201412 yr Nope, and after 2 co workers who have been on cruises came back very ill, one of which almost died, never gonna.
June 2, 201412 yr Have done Western itinerary on Freedom-class and Oasis. Ship is great. Lots to to do on board for family or just as couple. Highly reccmmend anytime dining and booking excursions early.. RC is great.
June 3, 201412 yr Going on the same ship in Dec/Jan for 8 days. I have not been on this one. We have been on over 30 cruises, so it is obvious how we feel about them. We have been on most of the big lines and RCCL is pretty good. We just like to get away and have contact with no one for a week or so. My son went on his honeymoon 10 years ago on the Freedom and said it was really nice.
June 3, 201412 yr Author I appreciate all the feedback. I knew I would get some info from my BGP crew. Thanks
June 3, 201412 yr Nope, and after 2 co workers who have been on cruises came back very ill, one of which almost died, never gonna. Don't let that scare you off! Cruises are great fun and cases of people getting sick to that degree are very rare.
June 3, 201412 yr I haven't been on one as a true adult (was 18 on the last one) but I really think cruises are one of the best ways to go on a vacation.

Nassau was OK, but we didn't explore it much. Some of our group got out and toured around, took the bus (interesting experience) and or did some self guided snorkeling and enjoyed their day. The best part of the cruise was the dining. I can't say enough about the food, and expecially the personal service. The wait staff for dinner was outstanding and they took really good care of us. Out of our group of 14, the head waiter new our names within 5 minutes and never forgot what drinks we wanted, etc. It was amazing. Plus, if you can't decide between two dinner options, they will just bring you both. Unbelievable service. The 2nd best part of the ship was the entertainment, IMO. The nightly shows are spectacular and the cruise directors and staff are really engaging and funny. I loved that part of of the vacation.
