It might have but we will never know. KY, despite the lack of the things you mention had huge pressure that season. Cats Pause had a huge print circulation and the radio network for UK was larger than any in the nation without national syndication. Hall called his team the "Folding Five" when they lost their 2nd game to LSU by 1 pt in OT. Robey has long said their entire careers would have been a failure had they not won. As anonymous as some have made them sound, every UK fan knew every one of those Cats back then as much as they know today's players. Like today, they were recognized every time they went out. I still hold the had the most pressure I've ever seen on a KY squad. :thumb:

April 26, 201412 yr That can't be, Jim Schue has been telling us for years that Duke fans couldn't care less about Kentucky Most Duke fans don't. They don't talk about UK until UK fans come over there talking crap. That is a major reason why the irrational Duke fans are irrational. The UK obsession with Duke is neverending. You'll never see Duke fans talking about UK during a game between Duke/Michigan like you see UK fans doing when they played Wisconsin.

April 26, 201412 yr Doyel article on the twins: System works for Harrison twins; media projections were way off good read. Some think if a player is not one and done they are a failure. Which is the far from the truth. The failures is the ones that rank them that high without seeing them play one game in College.
