I do t know if the 78 team had the most pressure on them, but the pressure for the 96 team and 2012 were totally different kinds of pressure. 1996 team was said to be the favorites by far before the season started to win it all just like the year before with UCLA. 2012 was very highly rated team and many had them predicted to win it before the season started but they also had many doubters because of how young they were. So I don't think 2012 was nearly as much pressure as the 96 team.

Hatz or some others can fill us in on the 78 squad, but there was a name that team had that had something to do with them not having any fun at all. It had been 20 years since UK had won a title & they were clearly the best team at the season's outset. The 1996 team was a lot like that too, but they seemed to handle the pressure pretty well. 2012 would be third of those three IMO because the team had so much youth. This team will have pressure, no question. And PP92 makes some really good points about social media adding to the pressure, but with the 2012 title still so fresh, I just think the other three years had more in terms of fan expectations.

When I don't care about something, I tend to not to pay any attention at all to it... On a side note Deuce, I'm not referencing you what so ever.

April 25, 201412 yr I need to stop by the Duke board. All these kids coming back should be applauded nationally. I'm curious to see what those haters over there are saying. There are definitely some irrational Duke fans that I have seen over there.
