The Temptations in a close one. Love this era of music.

The Temptations had various phases in their career. (Along with various lineups)

 

I think that gives them an edge because of their variety. From "My Girl" to "Ain't too Proud to Beg," to "Ball of Confusion" to "Papa . . ." to "Just my Imagination."

I'm a "Stylistics" guy, myself.

 

When I hear this, I can still see her in my mind.

Did anyone else go to Riverbend in 1990 to see the Four Tops and Temptations together?

Between the 2 groups, I have to go with the Temptations.

Picked up a Temptations album at the record shop this afternoon...had this gem on it.
