Steals 2nd, on the second pitch, after a pitchout on the 1st pitch to BP.

Molina didn't even attempt to throw. By the time he caught the ball, Hamilton was a step from entering his slide.

Then Hamilton goes to third on a fly to medium depth right center - wasn't close at 3rd.

HAHA. Hamilton scores on what would have been an infield fly rule pop up.

That was ridiculous. Hamilton scores on a pop up in short right. Jay called off the second baseman, stepped into the throw and it wasn't close at the plate.

Who caught it? Was it an infielder running away from the plate?

Thanks. That is impressive.

John Jay coming in.

And that is why Billy Hamilton is such a huge weapon. He single-handedly manufactured that run.

He's probably more valuable to a team like the Reds than, say, the Cardinals. The Cards would get him in with deep fly balls or timely hits. He'll raise other guys averages because of plays like the one he scored on. Has to be the shallowest SAC fly in Bruce's career.

Did the Cardinals appeal thinking he had to have left early?

Any way to see the replay of that tag from Billy?

I'm sure it will be on the MLB AB App if you have that.
