Heisey has proven that he's not the everyday answer in LF. C. Ludwick and Heisey will likely platoon out there anyway, and since it's been pointed out that there's only 161 left, I think it's a real possiblilty that the new manager will call the old manager and ask what he thinks he should do. D. If we are gonna rail on Ludwick after one, let's throw the rest of the bums under the bus. At this juncture, maybe we can hope to keep BP and Frazier.

A) good point - he makes a lot of hitters look bad but I am not basing my analysis over one game. B) Maybe - but has he gotten the same chances that Ludwick has gotten. Probably not. C) Price appears to have the smarts and I really do not get what the rest of your sentence means. D) Not trying to throw anyone under the bus but you have to look at it realistically. This team has too many holes in the line up. You cannot get away with 5 or 6 guys that hit 230 and strike out like they do. They need guys that are tougher outs in the everyday line up. It is probably going to be a long 161. Heisey got a ton of time in LF last year when Ludwick went down. Had he been a solid answer, they'd have traded Ludwick and his contract for a bucket of balls. As for the manager remark, you'll have to sift thru last years thread to get that one.
