April 4, 201412 yr ....... They have a leadoff hitter who will likely be among the worst everyday players in the majors. Me the first week of March...no one can give me the "it is early" answer about Billy Hamilton. He is WAY over-matched, and while I'm sure he'll have moments of excitement, the overall result for him is going to be dreadful. In his defense, the reason he is going to be allowed to be so bad for so long is two-fold: a) they have propped him up as an organization as some savior-like character; b) they have no one else...and I actually think Bernadina would be a huge improvement if played everyday. I just don't think they think that.
April 4, 201412 yr You've moved up to 3rd base coach. However, there hasn't been much action for you yet.:walk: The most action at 3rd has been high-fiving Bruce and Frazier.
April 4, 201412 yr Bernadina could fill that role. He's done it before. Isn't Beourgeouis in the minors also? I know he can run an little bit and play some OF. Thought he had led off for some teams...

I just don't think they think that. Others must not think Bernadina is a leadoff hitter either or he would have been trade bait, as many need a leadoff hitter. Hamilton is what I expected, well, I really didn't think he'd be as overmatched as who looks right now. He really looked clueless. If a pitcher throws him anything but junk, they should be removed immediately from the game. If it ain't straight he ain't hitting it.

He has played in the majors for the White Sox, Brewers, Astros (2 seasons), Royals and Rays. He's bat .259 over his career with a .305 OBP. Steals bases at a 78% clip. Only has struck out 55 time in 515 PA (10.7%) but also only has walked 32 times in those PAs (6.2%). 51 SB with 14 CS (78.5%).
