Agreed, but you can look at the players in the Reds lineup and know that it is going to be a long season. Too many holes in the lineup. They are doing Hamilton a dis-service rushing him along like they are doing. They also cannot really believe that Ludwick is a legitimate option. What is the fascination with him in this city. Games are just as important in April as they are in Sept. Heisey had been absolutely blistering the ball late in spring training but Ludwick is right in there. Appears that the manager on this team is just a puppet to play bigger salaries over the players that will actually win.

Can't be any worse than Ludwick and would be better defensively. Ludwick had about one solid month two years ago and everyone thinks he is George Foster.
