March 20, 201412 yr I didn't see it myself, but a friend of mine told me that a few NBA talking heads were discussing the best players (aside from LBJ & KD). One of them took Davis. At this point it's tough to argue with. Kid is outstanding and still has room to improve. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

March 21, 201412 yr I wish Davis was with Popovich like Duncan has been his whole career. I know Davis is going to be an elite, top 5 player for the rest of his career barring injuries, I just worry the Hornets won't put the right pieces around him.

I remember trying to argue he was going to develop his game far more than T Mac did. T Mac was hampered by injuries I acknowledge that, but I don't think he rounded his game out to make him have a sustainable career late. I think Durant keeps adding elements that will keep him playing at a high level for perhaps close to ten more years. Cats used to say KD would be like T Mac, great young player but eventually fall off late. Wondering if he still has the same outlook after a few years?

March 26, 201412 yr KD has already played with better teammates than TMac ever had both individually in Westbrook and possibly even with Harden/Yao, and definitely as a team. And my bias towards KD will never allow me to give him the respect he's due.
