Wait, I have heard that jingle before.

:banghead:

Well, that just ruined my head noise for the afternoon.

Great news! The city of Florence does a great job.

I agree, great news! Hadn't been into a Menards until they built the one up in Cincinnati, but love it.

The only "bad news" that I've ever heard about Florence and development came quite a few years ago, when Jungle Jims was reportedly looking to build another location, and had settled on what is now Dick's (and a couple of other stores) across from Turfway Park.

From what I heard, someone (pretty sure it was the city, but it could've been the county) put up so much red tape for them to go thru, that JJ pulled the plug on the site.

Love Costco....The large tubs of the little peanut butter filled pretzels are proof that God exists and loves us. I might go broke once this thing opens up. :lol2:

Seems like I heard the same thing, except it was about beer.

Good news. CostCo has very good steak s and a nice wine selection, too.

I have a Menards about 20 mins from me. I like it, kinda like a Lowes and very mild Walmart combined but more Lowes than Walmart.

Costco, Menards, Sam's, Walmart, Meijer, etc. Lots' of competition in Florence for our dollars. Should be interesting.

Cabellas or Bass Pro? i'm hearing both

Both would seem to be a little overkill, not that I'm complaining.
