Hearing reports that this has some legs. Can anyone find a link anywhere to substantiate this report?

 

I haven't been able to find anything. Couldn't find anything on the TV station site that was mentioned, and Google comes up with nothing new. I'm assuming this happened in Louisville. My daughter is a Freshman there, but is on spring break, so I can't find anything out from her either.

I find it extremely weird that WLKY didn't put it on their website after they ran it on the 11:00 news. I haven't been able to find anything either.

FWIW I saw the same news report as Duece.

I've got a feeling he's not going to shake the demons by himself. I'm very disappointed because the talent I saw when he was younger was very good. I guess it's tough trying to live up to the level of football player his Dad was, but that's NO excuse to throw your life in the toilet on a repeated basis.

 

Just goes to show no mater what socioeconomic group you come from, these demons can ruin ANYONE if you let it.

This is just so sad and he isn't the first nor will he be the last. I just really hope he gets it some day. I can find no joy nor will I judge someone I just do not know or anyone for that matter. These issues come about in a variety of ways in all walks of life. I have to believe he has positive supporters that will continue to try and get through to him.

This. It amazes me that people actually seem to enjoy watching the life of a young man spiral out of control. Success breeds jealousy, and jealousy breeds contempt. Dont know this young man, but I sure am glad so many people on here live perfect lives and have perfect children.

No one is jealous, I believe. We're all just so tired of seeing him waste the talent that was given to him. Plus, he's a class A jerk so liking him in spite of his drug failures is really hard.

I don't think it's jealousy that keeps him on peoples minds. I think the fact that he has had and squandered several opportunities, opportunities many think he didn't deserve because he has consistently made bad decisions, and not been able to stay out of trouble. And yes it is kind of like a train wreck. People can't help but look. He has created all of his own issues, and it's nobody's fault but his.

I have to wonder about the success part too....Losing record as a high school QB (only 6 wins total I believe), two suspensions in high school, and kicked out of two high level D1 football programs. Hard to find success in that track record.

Ummm....kid was good enough to earn a scholarship to Auburn, more than anyone hanging out on this board has accomplished. I cannot say how thankful I am that social media didnt exist to this level as I was growing ip. Makes tough guys out of a lot of people, not to mention my errors as a young adult.

Why should it matter to you that he wastes his life, as you say? That reeks of jealousy. I get no joy or satisfaction from that. He, like many, have messed up opportunities. He should pay the consequences if guilty of these offenses, as he has in the past. Now when he will learn to make better choices, I have no idea. I still with the young man gets it straightened out down the road. He still is a young man.
