2014 Fish Fry Thread

Featured Replies

While I am Catholic and LOVE a good fish fry I will be passing on these options and heading to First Friday in Bellevue. I'm sure I'll find a good non-meat dish.

Pius is strong. MQH is strong. Most are good. Hard to screw it up.

I'm not Catholic, but this Baptist loves me some fish fries. Since my oldest son moved out, I'm the only one that likes fish in my house, Gives me a chance to eat fish without lovely wife commenting on it.

..and if you're around a bunch of Catholics no one will notice if you enjoy a brew.

I haven't been there in quite a while but many people claim it is one of the best fish fries there is.

Sold. Will report back tonight...

Mary Queen of Heaven just received some nice publicity from WCPOs evening news tonight. The shrimp I saw being plated were very nice sized. Our family will be there once and at the Newport Elks. We'll also do a crawfish boil with corn on the cob and taters before the season ends! :thumb:

Love Fish Fry's, we usually do a different one each weekend. Amazing how you can run into someone you know at nearly every parish in Northern KY.

They got a cake wheel?

Hit up MQH tonight. Drive thru line was a half hour. Food was good as always. Will be hitting St Paul next week.

Well hey, if somebody has a non-Catholic in tow...like maybe me...like, you know...somebody might invite ME to come eat...and hey, who knows...somebody might invite someone like ME to come eat. And hey, if someone should...oh I don't know, invite someone like ME to come eat who is not Catholic...well then a ribeye sandwich might be just the thing that someone like ME would order should I be invited to come eat.:thumb:

BigVMan23, you are cordially invited to any fish fry you choose. Bring your self and all of your non-Catholic peeps. We don't care. It's more money for us! :lol2:

Seriously though, I'll be working at the IHM fish fry in Burlington every Friday except NEXT Friday. Come on down!
