Kinda looks like $5K could have been better spent somewhere else with the way schools struggle with money these days...private money or not. JMO

I've thought about this game alot. One of the most intriguing I've ever seen. To get to the point, Blackman did not have a history with excessive personal fouls and was given an award to the contrary as good sports. I went and saw Blackman play Oakland last season. VERY tough, hard-nosed game, but no personal fouls or repetitive cheap plays.

 

I saw and kept this site appraised of this game. The team I saw play Oakland was not the team I saw play BG. I will not vouch for all the refs personal foul calls, but at least 7 of the 12 I will. If you are in a game where it is being called tight, you adjust. Any good team knows that. Blackman simply did not adjust.

 

As for me, I wish they would play, but I understand at least a reason or two why they will not. I know Blackman's coach is a good one, but both coaches haven't been "classy" in this reguard. Sometimes its best to just part ways and never see each other again. EVER

 

I agree my friend. I do think BG should have let them know they were not coming sooner. It puts Blackman in a bind to get another game this late. BG's coach should have called himself to explain. Right thing to do or not...that is bush league.
