  1. Sorry, I just assumed that if students were simply going to other schools for academic reasons this thread wouldn't exist. We are discussing the demise of WC's athletics. Hence, the mention of the KHSAA. It's my understanding the Ford kid was ruled ineligible but is appealing. But I agree with an earlier post that mentioned everything everyone has heard is wrong. I certainly could be one of those. Macdon, I think we can all agree that nothing is clear with the KHSAA and how they come about their decisions.
  2. I'm not sure what the $4000 tuition has to do with eligibility and the KHSAA. If that's the case, then why wouldn't any kid who wants to transfer and is capable of paying SEEK money, do so? While only reading the headlines in the news, I never got the impression the state ruled in anyone's favor. The two schools finally came to an agreement. But I'm not a legal scholar.
  3. I was at the Rivals Bowl. Greenwood's defense was impressive in that game. MNH will be just fine with their senior led team.
  4. Wasn't trying to be smart, just saying that one makes sense, the other doesn't. It will be interesting to watch it all play out.
  5. There is a big difference between a head coach at Boyle Co. and an o-line coach at Warren Central.
  6. I, for one, will be extremely interested in his coaching stipend. Warren County is one of the largest districts in the state with a very low pay scale in comparison to other districts. I'm guessing assistant coaches in any sport rank pretty low. Look forward to learning what brought Coach Morris to Warren Central in BG.
  7. If this player has not participated in any off season activities with Boone County....and he is a senior, isn't it as if he quit the team in January? You wouldn't let any other senior come back in August after missing the entire winter, spring and summer programs. Why is AF entitled to such? Letting him back on the team would be a slap in the face to every player that has worked their tail off for the last 8 months! What kind of precedent are you setting for the future of your program?
  8. That's pretty selfish. Many players get recruited and go on to play college ball at a different position than they did in high school. I would think a college recruiter would find it impressive for an "all-star" player to step up and play where his coach and team needed him to play for the benefit of others over himself.
  9. I watched the video. Will any of Coach Rogers' staff be returning?
  10. Or, he could attempt to go with his son???
  11. Any thoughts from Highland's fans about the possible transfer of Coach Feggins' son?
  12. No ties here, been in the college ranks for years. Probably won't stay long.
  13. Rumor has it they are hiring a "spread" guy, so there you go.
  14. They beat Pulaski 49-14 in the championship game. I would assume it's an easier opponent than Blackman in game 10.
