Heard talk of them forfeiting. Hope this isn't true. Sad situation.

I've found over the past several months that the things people have "heard" all wind up being untrue.

 

They're not forfeiting.

 

Yes they have a Varsity team.

 

Yes they play on heck of a schedule that will not do them any favors this year.

 

Yes their numbers are low.

 

Yes Coach Taylor is their 4th coach in four years.

 

Yes it's a shame.

 

Yes it used to be a great program, and it will take a while to come back to that level, but I believe it WILL HAPPEN.

It was finished towards the end of last season. It, the field house as well as the soccer, baseball and softball fields/complex. First class set up down there for sure in terms of facilities.

Yes. That is exactly what has happened. It's no coincidence that South Warren is a top notch football program overnight and that Warren Central's program has gone downhill in a major way in the same time frame. I think it is a shame what has happened to Warren Central. Hopefully they will recover and become the Warren Central I knew in my younger days.
