Definitely so. I know Garrard dropped Lincoln and Mercer in the late 80s because they just couldn't compete with them. Garrard and Boyle last played in 1990, when Garrard was on the uptick and Boyle was struggling. You have to do what is best for your program. But if possible, I'd love to see more area games. I do like the way bowl games at Boyle, Danville and Lincoln have worked in home-and-homes with teams lately.

To the best of my knowledge the last 3 times Boyle and Garrard played was 1998,1999,and 2000 Boyle won those 3 games by a combined score of 166 to 49 and 30 of those points were scored in the 4 TH quarter on Boyle's JV and freshman by Garrard's starters in a game played at Garrard in 2000 after Boyle had a 70 to nothing lead.

The 1999 (60-6) and 2000 (73-30) games were blowouts. Before that, the two hadn't met since 1990. Boyle leads the series 18-9.

Where did you find the information about the series? I couldn't find anything past 1998.
