So back to our original subject...who's gonna be the next coach? Any updates?

I haven't been to all of those places, but I agree 100% with this post. I love the atmosphere of having your stands close to the field that you get by not having a track around it. You can add Belfry to that list. The atmosphere at the old Vipperman Stadium was crazy and loud with the high concrete bleachers right on top of the field and the mountain right behind. The rest of the facilities were subpar but the atmosphere was spectacular.

 

When Belfry moved to CAM Stadium in 2005 I was at first worried that they would have the track around the field. Luckily, they had the foresight to build the track around the soccer field and not the football field. CAM Stadium is a beautiful facility and having a track there would have removed the fans too far from the action.

 

I totally forgot about Belfry. Sorry 2-Ci.

 

Atmosphere at Belfry is 2nd to none.

No Chris Crutchfield did a good job. When he quit working on it for a little while it went to the dogs. Let's give the credit where it's due.

I'm not going to get started on this issue but I saw who kept the football field in immaculate condition.

 

 

There is more to having a great bermuda field than just mowing it but I'm sure you know that!

Mum is the word. This one will go the distance. Still very early, but I dont expect a coach named anytime soon. Perhaps in March (that is the nature of the beast)

Just wandering, If Perry were to be hired. How many players do you think he would actually have. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he only have about 30 players on several teams he coached there. Obviously the school has grown in size, but surely a lot of the same dynamics are still in place that were there the last time. I have had several ex-players say that they hope the kids can handle what he will bring to the table. On a side note (they were all very glad he applied and hoped he got it)
