January 30, 201412 yr Executive orders are pretty routine. Issue is how far reaching those executive orders go to establish laws that should have been deferred to Congress. I have no idea if Obama has stretched further than past presidents in that aspect but I doubt if he has. It would make an interesting discussion but would take too much effort to review all those EOs.

What else you got? Because I saw 2 great games on ESPN. And could teach Civics if this health care job falls thru.

Support adult education initiatives...the way to better wages is education and personal development...raising people's pay without it is a disincentive to personal development. The part I can agree with is reduce the tax burden on low income earners and provide greater child care options and assistance....this would be the win/win!! 3) Fixing the voting process. Our process is fine....we just need to follow it....too much corruption...both sides (especially Dems. :clap:) 4) I am not a gun person, but the old saying goes...outlaw guns and only criminals will have them. So how does one keep a nutjob from getting a gun....how does one keep a gang member from getting a gun...without penalizing normal gun enthusiasts? or doomsday preppers :hungry:) 5) Expanding pre-school opportunities MUST mean bringing the family into the equation. Especially those on government assistance. These are the highest proportion of at-risk children, and the programs that work require, for example, welfare parents to take classes, participate as helpers at school....again a win/win...a more committed and involved parent or someone who will think twice about having a child for a larger welfare check and turn them out on the street...we have to start somewhere. More funding of more "programs" at schools is great business for book publishers, educational consultants, colleges who produce teachers, trainers...but it won't work without the above.
