I hope the Rocks can cope with this schedule. Last season - based on the way the team turned out - I thought Trinity might have overscheduled. Had they played a more normal schedule' date=' I think the team would have finished better. ...gained more confidence. Just my opinion. Maybe the coaches expect this team to be quite improved. I sure hope so.[/quote']

I don't think there are many options.

The Ohio teams are in the same boat because of the computer points. Outside of league games it is hard for Moeller and Colerain to get anyone instate to play them and take a likely loss and probably a thumping. Kudos to them for scheduling Trinity which obviously is not a guaranteed win.

Tough schedule. I wish they and BG could work something out though. Good luck to the rocks, I hear they have a really good up and coming QB. Hope to catch a game thisyear like I did 2 years ago. Maybe the Moeller game.

With that schedule, they'll likely be No. 23 in the Litkenhous ratings.

I don't even think they qualify to be LIT ranked until their first KHSAA game.

My understanding is it was a matter of the financing from their end. Trinity had there portion of the cost secured, Bishop Gorman had difficulty securing their end.

Imhotep Charter is a small (AA with AAAA the largest) in Philly. Yes they made the state finals in 2013 but were beaten 41-0 with a halftime score of 35-0 and the running clock for the second half. Trinity has an extremely difficult schedule for 2014 but this game probably won't be hard. They have around 500 students. One thing T doesn't want to do is play these dudes in basketball. Over the last dozen years they've averaged 28 wins a year in the tough Philadelphia public league with one title and one runnerup in states. This could end up worst than the T and Birds' scrimmage scores.

I have been to Bishop Gorman High School. Facilities there are unreal.

No Highlands?

Scrimmage only at HHS August 15.

The founders of the UFC have a son that attends Gorman. They paid for the facilities.

That is one heck of a tough schedule.

Love it......toughen the young pups early......gonne be a fun 2-3 years.

This schedule is absolutely brutal. I think the "murder's row" schedule they played last year hurt them come play off time. If no else will schedule you then you play who you can. But playing just about a state champion team every week or close to it is going to be a huge challenge.
