So, if Twitter is a key to staying informed then what are your top 5 followings? Everybody?

I'd get Das Boot if I listed my 5 favorite follows...

I use Twitter and Instagram. As has been said, Twitter is an outstanding way to get news, updates, informed opinions, and plenty of laughs.

Sexting...

I was going to say screenshotting nude photos.

And Ms Jones... :D

Now that I have figured out Facebook many seem to have moved to these three forms of social media. First who uses them and secondly why?

Kids use them. My oldest once told me that Twitter was the only social media that adults have not screwed up yet.

I just finished a Forbes article on SnapChat. Turned down $3B in cash from Facebook.
You did?

And thank you as well. :D

It didn't take long for snapchat to get boring

You're not snapchatting the right people. :lol2:

I know that I'm in the minority here, and I'll never say never, but for now I feel like I'm on overload enough as it is than to be walking around non-stop with my smart phone constantly checking and posting and checking and posting.

It's certainly the way of the modern world, and more power to them, but I'm more inclined to want to find relaxation and simplicity than to constantly feel compelled to stay in multi-task mode my every waking moment.

When it comes to Twitter, can anyone see me being limited to very few characters when posting? ... Right...

I suppose that if I don't completely keep up with the every changing option that one day I'll be left in the dust and become a dinosaur. Perhaps I already am?

I'm still young enough that it seems in some ways I better stay alert, but old enough to remember a time where none of this was necessary. In some ways I feel that I could jump back 20 years without missing a beat and be content with that.

I'm not at all against the internet, as it's a very informative and exciting tool, but must admit that I'm a bit worn out from the constant pool to stay in the mix of everything that changes every 5 minutes. What do I mean by 5 minutes? That's so 2 minutes ago.

Facebook was the winner here considering Snapchat had their issues with leaking personal information.

Twitter for me and the number one person I follow is Clyde.

Not at all. Every site has their own issues. There's a reason Facebook offered $3B. They want to control the market. The founder of Snapchat turned it down because he values it at more than $3B and he's right.

I talked to some of my "young friends" recently and they thought not selling for the 3B was a mistake because in their opinion SnapChat has peaked and it is on the way down.

Anyone?

My friends and I said the same thing. We all use it, but I don't see how it can go much higher value wise than it already is. Anyone know why they turned the deal down?
