January 14, 201412 yr Bill Nye did a guest spot on "The Big Bang Theory", this is just his way of providing equal time.
January 14, 201412 yr Author I've met Ken Ham... hope Billy Nye is ready to battle. This is what I am afraid of. This COULD be a very good and productive debate but when you start questioning people's beliefs, it often turns into something looking like preschoolers fight.
January 15, 201412 yr I've never really understood the creationism versus science debate. Isn't there a certain amount of faith involved in creationism, which would mean that there isn't evidence enough to prove anything? And if not, are they arguing they have better/different evidence than scientists? I just don't see how one who believes in creationism can gain from debating science.

There is something that is being ignored here. I believe God created everything. I don't believe the creationist take on it. I hate when people categorize it only 2 ways, either the science side or the creationist side. I believe god created everything, bit how he created the universe can be proved with science. Who is to say God didn't create the universe through the big bang etc.? sorry but using science to explain things does not disprove God. God created science. Just sayin

Just sayin I didn't say there were only two ways to categorize it, and I happen to agree with you about it. But this is a thread on a debate between specifically creationism and science.

January 15, 201412 yr Ham is a 6000 year old earth creationist. Not all agree with that. That alone is why the majority of people don't agree with him and those that believe the same whether it be religious believers or not.
January 16, 201412 yr The upcoming debate between Bill Nye The Science Guy and Ken Ham will be streamed live for free at Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham | Answers in Genesis on February 4th at 7pm.

If there's a creater, then something had to create the creater. No one has ever given me an answer to that question that makes one bit of sense.
