Lexington Catholic 65 Knott County Central 47

I feel like the best game tomorrow will be the 3rd place game. Just my opinion of course.

Agreed, are you sure there is going to be a third place game?

That's what I want to know.

Yes. Monday at 6:00 PM. Third place game.

thanks, i was goin anyways but would like to see NCC/KCC

Interesting that this is LC's only double digit win in their last 7 games (all victories) - and it comes against Knott Central. I didn't see this one but I gotta think that the 30 point turnaround from the first time they met has a lot to do with the first one being played at KCC.

I think it has more to do with LC making shots and shutting down Hall more than anything else. Add in the fact that Justice didn't shoot the ball well and there you have it. LexCath was on fire in the first half from deep. They set the tone early and were clearly the better team tonight.

LexCath's two losses were on the road though.

Fine...I'll say it. The refs were less than stellar down the stretch in this one. Quite a few bad calls on both ends of the floor. I'm not saying they determined the outcome of the game (they didn't). LC had a great game plan to neutralize Hall's touches and that affected everything else.

I left at halftime of this one, but the 3's that LexCath were hitting in the 1st half were just "crazy"!!!

However, Justice hit a few himself for Knott Co.

Looks like KCC not so great when the home cookin does not go their way.

It was a 4 point game with about 3 minutes left in the game. LexCath made 22 free throws in the last quarter when Knott was forced to foul. There's very little difference between these two teams. Final score is a little misleading.

That's what I said during the update thread. There was some interesting officiating but I don't think it determined the outcome.

LC has to be one of the toughest places to play. Always seems that you are playing 5 on 8 when you play Catholic at home.

Wow, then who knows what the margin would have been if Dixie had been the opponent.
