Just for the record, I live in the 502. :D. Hope that I can attend.

I sure hope you can.

I'll do my absolute best to be there. Going to be rough with wrestling season in full swing. But Louisville will be much easier to make for me than NKY.

May I suggest a place:

The Back Door

It has the added bonus of being in the Highlands so all the "snobs" can make it. :D

I didn't know there was a "Highlands" in Louisville until a couple of weeks ago when my daughter had an interview at Bellarmine's PT program. Seemed like a nice area.

Lived there for a year when I was in school. Nice spot.

I've lived just a few short blocks from Bellarmine for the last four years. Love the neighborhood.

I concur, my time around the holidays is pretty much booked up overall.

I think the gathering place space chosen should depend on how much talking we want to do. I like The Back Door but I would rather not have to yell in order to have a conversation.

Agreed. I think being able to get into a spot where we don't have to yell over the din would be nice.

I'll try to schedule some customer visits in the 'Ville that day.

Get a toothache, I gotcha.

I am in! I'll make it somehow, even if it's through the week. Monday, 2/3 is out, though, as I have an executive committee meeting with the Concours D'Elegance committee. I have committed one as yet undecided Saturday in January to an outing with my kids and their SO's. But, I could do something in the evening. I will say, a weeknight outing for me would be very short, as my 4:30am wake up call makes it difficult to wrangle. But...I usually get back into town by 7, so I'd have a couple of hours before my coach turned into a pumpkin.

I do agree the BackDoor would be noisy, but on its plus side, it's cheap! St. Matt's is definitely doable too. May I suggest the Silver Dollar? It's on Frankfort Ave at Pope St, and they have a private room too. (Then I could combine indulging my craving for one of their barbecue sandwiches and multi-task the outing. :D)

Anyone have objections to a Sunday afternoon outing somewhere? I love lazy Sunday outings with friends!

If Getslow's going to be there, I wouldn't expect much of a turnout.

I'm going to have say "backoff" my boy.......he provided excellent updates from the KOB.

Sunday outings are great!

Randy just asked me if The River Styx is nearby. Not sure what he meant.

Let me know where to go and when and I'll do my best to make it work,

I'm hoping the Derby City contingent makes this happen this time. Previous efforts always seemed to end on the cutting room floor.

Depending on the date I may be in. Just depends on my boy's basketball schedule.

Louisville is definitely more convenient for me than NKY, especially since I will be watching basketball today in Lexington at Lexington Catholic. I'm in if the date fits my schedule, which of course is very chaotic this time of year, but will make it if I can.
