December 10, 201312 yr Glad everybody's alright RM. I just had my car totaled a couple of months ago & that isn't fun, but at least everyone is okay.

December 10, 201312 yr Sorry to hear that RM. Glad you are ok. Bet that was scary. We drove the teen to school, even with the 90 minute school delay. He is a very good driver, just no experience in snow. He was not happy about being driven to school. :lol2:
December 10, 201312 yr Rockmom!! You walked away from that? Kiss your St. Christopher medal! Show that pic to your teen...it isn't necessarily HIS driving that can land him in a scary situation. In my case I was driving about 20MPH. Not sure how fast the other driver was going, but his car was in full spin mode and basically hit me head on, shoving me up onto the sidewalk and into a telephone pole. I have been praying to every one for watching over me. I don't know how I didn't get hurt worse than I did. But I'm pretty sure at least God and my dad had something to do with it.
December 10, 201312 yr By the way...y'all would laugh at this. In had no idea that when the air bag deploys there is a powder emitted. When that happened, I thought it was smoke, and kind of had a freak out moment that my car was on fire. LOL

That's funny but I could definitely see how scary that could be if you're not familiar with it. Glad you are ok RM that picture looked painful.
December 16, 201312 yr Monday Dec 16. Boone County Schools on a 2 hour delay. New update--- Boone County Schools are closed today.
December 16, 201312 yr Got the 2-hr delay call around 4:30 foe Mason County. Got the school is closed call around 6:30. Taking daughter to Bellarmine for an interview at the crack of dawn tomorrow, then lunch with family friends (Little Joe Hamilton and his wonderful family), then the mall. Hopefully the roads will be clear in the morning.
