December 2, 201312 yr ^ I can never remember. I thought that the Belk Bowl in Charlotte had the third pick from among the AAC teams. Oh yeah, I forgot about the Belk Bowl. I think you're right.
December 2, 201312 yr Pretty big gap between 3 and 4. That's what happens when you lose late in the season.
December 2, 201312 yr What if? The QB for F-St is charged. Does anyone think he is done playing, until after the trial? For the record I am hoping Missouri and Ohio State in the final.
December 2, 201312 yr UC will likely win which sends Louisville to the Pinstripe Bowl I think. Is that correct? They don't go to bowls by order of conference finish. After the champion (UCF) goes to a BCS bowl, the other bowls are free to select which team they want, regardless of their place in the standings (although some leagues have some minor rules about selection). The Russell Athletic gets the first pick of AAC teams after the BCS and will almost assuredly pick Louisville, although I guess they could pick Cincinnati. The Belk picks second and the Pinstripe third. Also, even though Duke will be available from the ACC, I would bet that the Russell Athletic Bowl takes Miami to play against Louisville.
December 2, 201312 yr ^ I found the ACC's rules but not the AAC. The ACC allows bowls to pick out of order but the lower team must be within one game of the team that got skipped over.

If he is charged it is school policy that he is out. IF charges are filed it does not appear it will happen until after this week. IF charged this week however, they would remove FSU from the top spot. You would have to.

It would be a very interesting case study.
December 2, 201312 yr The polls likely would drop Florida State, but how far? And the computers wouldn't change. It would be a very interesting case study. The pollsters would drop them enough so that they would be out of the BCS title game, or boost the totals of the next closest to make it work.
December 2, 201312 yr Does anyone think Michigan St. can beat OSU? After watching Ohio States defense give up 41 to a subpar Michigan team, YES, by all means the Spartans can beat them. An FSU-Auburn NC game would be a good one. I mistakingly said yesterday OSU deserves the Rose Bowl against the PAC12 rep either ASU/Stanford, however, that honor would go to the Spartans if they win. The Buckeyes would then be a one loss team playing in the Carquest-Pizza Hut-Great Clips-Tire Discounter Bowl against the second place team of either BIG12, SEC, PAC12, ACC. I like the Auburn-FSU matchup :thumb:.
December 2, 201312 yr Oh how I would love for Tosu to get stuck with Alabama ... dream come true . And let Auburn/MZ rightfully play FSU .
December 2, 201312 yr OSU can score points on anyone, but will the defense step up? I think Urban will step in and take over a lot the D in the title game, if we get there. Disagree on OSU being able to score points on anyone, especially if had been against Bama in the title game. I think OSU could have played with Bama, if Bama had one week to prepare. However give Bama a month to prepare and I think they would have shut down OSU. Now if and when OSU plays FSU I do think OSU can and will score on them, and I think their defense as you said would do well. I think OSU would beat FSU, and I hate that! lol
