Where do you get your Vehicle Tires from?

Featured Replies

Bought my current set of truck tires from Sams and love them, dont drive that truck much but got a great deal. Sam's doesnt carry any tires in my size for this car unfortunately.

That's what I run into also.

The old plantman mobile is in need of new tires again, before I go my usual route of getting tires, figured I would ask where BGP got their tires and maybe these a better place or a cheaper route to go.

What size tire are you looking for?

My problem is the odd size of these tires, its always been an issue with this car since I needed my first set replace about 8 years ago.

Have you tried Sam's website? I think they will order in just about any size.

They come balanced..

Not possible. New tires must be mounted and then balanced.

What I wAs getting ready to say.

Plantsman, just buy a more common size. There's no law that says u have to use the same size the manufacturer used.

Really? So you buy the rim & tire together?

The Bob Sumerel tire family boys both went to Highlands(Indian Hill High School) I'm assuming you are talking about a totally different family.

There were 2 brothers in the tire business

Tom Sumerel was owner of Sumerel Tire & Retread. Not really in the retail market. And then there was Bob Sumerel. He obviously owned Bob Sumerel Tire which now mainly owned by AAA. Tom & Bob weren't the best of buddies.....

Really like what Stevie has going down there. He just replaced the front struts on my wife's Escalade and did a wonderful job. The price was competitive as well!

Yep I did for my wife's mini van...

Another quality business. Stevie used to work for Alexandria Tire. Just too far from my house.

I get mine thru a vendor we use at work for all of our heavy

equipment tires. I usually get a good rate as I've called after he's

sent me pricing and checked around and nobody usually comes close.

The guy I deal with did tell me he would use tire rack if he had to buy tires.

How do you get them mounted?

Well first I have to set the mood...a little wine, some candles...then I slowly take her clothes...oh wait, are we still talking tires?
