November 25, 201312 yr about 63-65 when I leave for work in the mornings, about the same when I go to bed. It's usually turned up to about 68-70 for a few hours in the evening if at home sitting around watching tv if it's really chilly outside. Girlfriend will turn it up to about 70-72 for a little while getting ready for work as she gets up quite a bit before me.
November 25, 201312 yr 70, year round. I'm basically the same. Sometimes on really hot days it will go to 72 and sometimes when it's really cold out I will crank it to 72 also. One thing I told myself when I was growing up, I wasn't going to freeze my butt off or sweat my butt off if I could afford not to. Most of the time though in the winter I will have it set to 68 unless it's too cold for my wimpy butt.

November 25, 201312 yr My house is 80 years old and the walls are plaster and lath board, so ZERO insulation in the walls. Gas heat, set on 70-72. When I turned my basement into a family room, insulated walls and ceiling so it's always nice down there.

November 25, 201312 yr 65 during the day. Evening hours we kick it up to 67-68. I can't imagine putting the thermostat on 59/60 as some do. Do you guys have hardwood floors? We do and it sucks getting out of bed with it being frigid. "Oh, well we put on sweatshirts, sweatpants, gloves, and socks to stay warm." Yeah, if I wanted to bundle up like a homeless person I would become one. I hate wearing full attire to sleep every night. We opt to go non-Amish style and pay the extra $15 a month to live in a somewhat bearable environment For sure, I'm more than willing to pay a little extra and be reasonably comfortable and not have to wear a blanket and hoodie around my house all winter.
November 25, 201312 yr Anywhere from 58 to 72. I know that is a huge range but it beats hearing the complaints.
