If Cov Cath would've had any halfway decent passing game' date=' this game would have been a toss up. They have some great athletes on that squad. Next year may be their year for sure.[/quote']

They've got a lot to replace on D next season.

Baloney. How so defensively speaking?
Maybe baloney on your sandwich, but straight facts for the rest of us.

So tell me, what changed for the Colonels defensively? They got Wagner and Bir back on offense, right? How's the defense different?

Cov Cath defense played a good game tonight; if they had a passing game, this would have been evenly matched.

When CCH ran at HHS they were successful.

HHS struggled throwing because CCH played mostly man to man and but pressure on the qb. QB even hurried on screen passes because of how fast the d line was in his face.

I was told they had 7 kids play tonight that did not play in the first game.

That's what I heard.

Two td drives for HHS came from mostly running the ball and Burchell was out for the two drives in the first half.

7 kids that mysteriously stepped up to shut down the Highlands passing game? lol.

Yeah, cause we know as well as anyone that missing a few key defensive players doesn't matter, right?

What are you talking about? I am just telling you what I was told by a head coach of another high school team that was told by coach Wirth.

I thought Feggins was D1?

Had 2 catches for 20 yards with 3 huge drops.

Guess he can't handle the big stage

Let me guess, they were all defensive backs.

Nope, at least one was in Drew's face all night.

According to his mom, it was the new gloves. And apparently you didn't see the Elder game. He took it over, singlehandedly.
