There's a Qb thread so I thought I would add this to get other's opinions. I obviously haven't seen many Rbs outside of the Louisville area play but I would venture to say Charles Walker is probably the best back in the state. Can others weigh in? I'm also not speaking in terms of college potential and scholarships, I'm speaking strictly from a high school level.

In Jefferson County, Walker at X is a very good, smart runner. Nero at Manual is good. Didn't a kid at Western go for 380+ this weekend? Byrd(?) at DeSales has been doing well. Brooks from Trinty is improving. I don't see enough games to give an informed decision as to who is best in Jefferson County, much less the entire state.

I haven't seen the kid from Madison Southern yet and I know he has quite the reputation. I have seen Charles Walker and if most believe the kid from Madison Southern is the best RB in the state I definitely need to see him. Walker is the best RB I have seen in person in quite some time.

BTW, Madison Southern is usually on the news, so every Friday night around 11:15 turn it on either news channel.

I understand the Madison southern kid is highly recruited and may be a tremendous talent but Walker has done this the past 3 years against the best competition in Ky and also some of the best regional opponents.

I honestly don't think I'm being a homer but he doesn't look better than walker on film, and against weaker competition that's saying a lot.
