Winston's post-game impressed me almost as much as his play. Composed, UNSELFISH, even modest. Either very well prepped or he is the real deal.

Should be unanimous....I expected a bit of a letdown from the Seminoles today at home against NC State. It typically happens after a huge road game like they had last weekend, but nope, not Jameis....They currently lead 35-0....with 2:00 to go in the 1st Quarter! 275 yards of offense in the 1st quarter for the Seminoles. Winston is 11-14 for 229 yards and 3 TDs.

Yeah, very true. I do think Winston will win the Heisman unless FSU has a legitimate meltdown next week vs. Miami, if not, it's his to lose at this point. I do still think Manziel is the best player in the country though. But A&M (mainly their defense) does him no favors at all (aside from having a REALLY good 6'8 receiver.)

I'll have to disagree. Having a good Defense is not Winston's fault either. Most are tired of the Manziel drama.

I could just as easily argue that one reason Manziel can put up such jaw dropping stats is because the defense is a sieve. He gets the ball more as a result.

I assumed you'd get the meaning. You do of course have to be a great QB. I wasn't saying Manziel is not, I'm saying that his stats get elevated further because his defense is so bad - thus giving him the ball more often. The argument being made is that Manziel should be considered better because he's making up for a poor defense. I'm arguing it's why his stats are marking out even higher. He's a great QB.

If so that would mean FSU would have the ball for more minutes ie more plays ie more stats . Their D gets the job done. Gets off the field and turns it back over. A&M's D stays on the field leaving less time for Manziel to run the offense.
