October 27, 201312 yr I don't buy that. I assume you're saying FSU D is much better than A&M, correct? If so that would mean FSU would have the ball for more minutes ie more plays ie more stats . Their D gets the job done. Gets off the field and turns it back over. A&M's D stays on the field leaving less time for Manziel to run the offense. But of course if FSU is getting stops you have times like yesterday where Winston essentially shut it down after one quarter and left the game after one half because they were dominating that much on both sides of the ball.

So what you're saying it we can't use one's D to determine how well a QB is playing. Too many variables.
