Odd timing as practice begins in 10 days.

Bevars was a great coach and I respect his legacy at the school. I feel bad that he never did get that state title.

That kind of came out of left field.

 

Bet they go after Jason Booher after this season.

Sometimes coaches who wish to see their top assistant named to be the varsity coach will delay their resignation, or even coach a few games in the new season before stepping down, pretty much forcing the admin to name that assistant as either interim or head coach.

 

Not saying that is the case here, but it has been done.

If I'm North Hardin, I can't call Maze Stallworth fast enough. I'd try to have him on the practice court tomorrow if it was me.

I'm don't know if he'd take the job or not I'm just saying I'd go after him if I was North Hardin. That is Maze's high school. He's be a perfect fit there.

That should've said Maze's county, not high school. He went to John Hardin.

Best of luck to Bevars. He coached at NH longer than many of us have been alive. I agree about Stallworth. He'd be the first call I'd make.

That's a darn good question. My guess...and this is just a guess...is that yes it just might be. I think the talent pool is probably similar...but NH I believe is in the easier...or lets say less tough, region, on average.

 

Now, that's just strictly talking basketball. Comparing schools, kids' attitudes, school administrations, public support of the program, etc...those things I have no clue about.
