Is North Hardin a better job than Holmes ???

 

Booher is a NH grad, so while NH and Holmes may not be equal depending on your opinion of the two, the alma mater aspect changes things a bit. North Hardin is the flagship program of the 5th Region, though, with many, many Sweet 16 appearances over the years.

Sometimes coaches who wish to see their top assistant named to be the varsity coach will delay their resignation, or even coach a few games in the new season before stepping down, pretty much forcing the admin to name that assistant as either interim or head coach.

 

Not saying that is the case here, but it has been done.
