October 2, 201312 yr Seems to me the grass never gets dry enough until 11 or 12. Depending on the height of the grass this could well be the case. If the dew has dried then it's fair game Bingo!!! If 1am party noise is OK for my neighbors to do, my 7 or 8am yard work noise should be equally acceptable. I'm a big supporter of this method. :lol2: As a retired Lawncare Professional all of the above are acceptable, especially rockmom, you go girl!!! :thumb:

October 3, 201312 yr We began paying a guy 20 bucks a week to cut the grass. He cuts it on Fridays so when I come home from Happy Hour on Friday the grass is cut. I'll never cut the grass again. Ever.

Guy had a lot of parties that ran late and spilled out into the yard. Ok on weekends but when they went to weekdays I fired the mower and trimmer up at 7. Luckily I had the support of other neighbors. It took a few times before he came out to complain. When he did I asked him if he had noticed that it only occurred on the days after his parties. Problem solved.

October 3, 201312 yr Do you have kids involved in sports?He does not but people can make anything a priority whatever they so choose. I have a guy at work that is obsessed with mowing and has 2 active kids. I doubt Rocket works typical 8-5 hours like the rest of us either.
