They don't! If they have 84 kids on their varsity roster then 25 to 30 kids are invisible. Which in my opinion would be an unfair advantage.

The max preps roster DOES include freshman, of which there are exactly 14. I don't think you can field a team with just 14 players. That roster also includes about 10 players which are listed twice for some reason and a few that are no longer on the team. The current varsity roster is about 50-54 kids. So no, this isn't totally absurd.

Did your view of Dixie improve or lessen after the loss to CovCath? In my view, no shame for an up an coming 6A team to lose to a traditional power in a lower class. In fact, I would argue that the program was elevated by that lose to a really good CovCath team.
