Never have, never will. I will admit my business has a page that I update (via twitter).

For personal accounts, as far as I'm concerned, it's the devil.

Not on Facebook and not on Twitter, I still have a dumbphone. :lol2:

You don't need a phone of any particular intelligence. In fact you don't need a phone at all. That's for facebook. I don't know what you need for Twitter.

You don't need that, Lawnboy. You get more news than most the old fashioned way---face to face conversation. :lol2:

Facebook's went waaaaaayyyyyy down hill, its pretty sad to see. Only reason I keep mine active is because I have had one for close to 10 years. I originally made an account the summer before my freshman year of college once I got my college email. At the time you could only get facebook if you were a college student and your school had a network. I remember at the time I couldn't even like a lot of the same stuff or see the same stuff as some of my friends because they were in the UK network and I was in the EKU network. A lot of my friends from home at Pikeville College couldn't even sign up, it wasn't until later were they added to the college list. To look at it now and go back and think of how it was then is pretty crazy.

I still keep it because its the best way I have of keeping in touch with all those I've networked with throughout the years.

I heard today that one of the top 3 reasons for divorce is Facebook!?!

Unsure about top 3, but a lot of marital infidelity begins on Facebook. I don't think that's Facebook's fault, but I know it happens on a frequent basis.

Facebook doesn't cheat on people; people cheat on people.

I agree, which is why I said it's not Facebook's fault. It's just the place where cheating sometimes begins.

Am I the only person on BGP who is not, nor ever has been, on Facebook? I'm active on Twitter, which works for me, but I've never been on Facebook (and have no intentions of ever being there). Am I literally the only one?

I dn't know, but I don't twitter.

My 28-yr-old nephew just announced his engagement to his "Twittergirl". Met her 2 years ago on Twitter.

(Is that how twitterfolks do it? :lol2:)

Sounds like they were both hot to twot.

It was just one of those fast facts that I heard on the radio while driving. Of course it's not FB's fault.

If you have a cheating heart, you will find a way.

Facebook gives you an easy avenue to reconnect with your old high school/college sweethearts, etc.

No and you don't need a FB.
