September 3, 201313 yr I currenty have Time Warner cable and am seriously considering a move as well. It seems like every 6 months or so the price goes up and I have no premium channels. Have strongly considered Bell Fioptics or maybe even a dish. I keep hearing and being told that you have to play the game in order to get the prices down or actually change services when the discounted prices disappear. Any truth to this?

I have had it for almost 11yrs with hardly any issues. The Sports Package is awesome!! Tell them I recommended you....:thumb:
September 3, 201313 yr I had cable and switched to Direct. I did keep the cable internet though. I cut my bill by $25 a month.

I've lost signal maybe 3 times in the year and a half I've had Direct TV, and it was only for about 3-4 minutes each time, if that. :idunno: Just got Sunday Ticket for Free, $30 off for next 12 months, and added DVR. Genie coming on Sunday. Never had DVR before, should be great!

Sounds like you got exactly what I got, my bill is $49.99 a month for next 12 months,Free Sunday Ticket,Genie,etc. think I could have gotten premium channels for 3 months, but didn't push. Cable with DVR is about 10 dollars more than that here and doesn't have all the HD channels or all the extras. Has anyone heard that this is the last year the Sunday Ticket will be with DTV? Read Google or Yahoo, it seems was going to be high bidder for it

September 4, 201313 yr I have Comcast. Zero issues and I don't have to worry about the weather. Both my parents have had satellite for a long time and it goes out all the time.
September 4, 201313 yr I have TWC and its ok for the first year. Then they jack up your price. If Google Fiber ever comes to our area thats where I'm going. Probably wont be for next couple of years though.
September 4, 201313 yr I have D-TV and I love it. Only draw back is after your 24 month contact is up it's kinda pricey. I just got Sunday Ticket for free, the Genie, Cinema Connection Kit and 20 bucks off a month for 12 months for re-signing for 24 more months.

September 4, 201313 yr I love my DirecTV. After Don Weber and cast left Insight it was an easy choice. I'd be down for a referral if you want to save $10 on your monthly bill.:thumb:
