Good luck with Obamacare Middle Class

Get use to high deductible plans friends, if you still have a copay you have really good insurance. I have a 6500 family deductible to meet annually before we technically have insurance.

I've had about 7 years to get used to it.

Wait a minute, so we can charge a higher premium for dipping, but not for being obese (not using BMI as the measuring stick b/c BMI is bunk)? I understand that you can't "deny" coverage for preexisting conditions, but why is my premium the same as someone who is at greater risk of heart disease and doctor visits? There should be some sort of tiering system for health in a health care plan.

USA TODAY/Pew poll: Health care law faces difficult future

Among the 19% polled who are uninsured, nearly four in 10 don't realize the law requires them to get health insurance next year. Among young people, whose participation is seen as crucial for the exchanges to work, just 56% realize there's a mandate to be insured or face a fine.

Our generation is the least politically savvy generation in the history of this country.

Article on Fox News today about a Louisville family who self insures; they received notice that their premiums will triple next year. Folks, you simply can't expect to force insurance companies to cover everyone and insure pre-existing conditions and not have premiums go up more than they would have otherwise.

Just looked up the Fox story you cited. The story offers no info about what type of plan the family of four was purchasing for three hundred and something dollars a month. Many more questions than answers after reading this piece of propaganda.

That seems a bit far fetched but it's going to be more expensive, there is no doubt about that.

A I have stated previously, this is not far fetched at all. My premium is going to almost double.
