Having their own field is a plus but I know some people think its the locker room. :wave:

Also, at NCC you won't have parents complaining about out of district kids playing in front of their kid. Trust me, would make me mad if my son came up through the ft Thomas football league to only have some kid from another town play in front of him when they got to high school.

Saying these boys went to Highlands only because of football is ridiculous.

 

NC is too good a school to be embarrassed like this. Remember, your words are seen state-wide and beyond. Carl Foster used to say, "You are better than that."

This thread is pretty much going nowhere... But I will say if a player doesn't want to risk not playing at all, go to NCC. But at the same time Highlands does offer quite the competition for them.... They both have pros and cons, it basically just depends on what the kid and what their family want going into high school. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either. No need to put either down or embarrass whichever school.... And as someone who had Carl as a teacher, yes he still does.

My kid just started in the ftjfl and I don't remember seeing anything in their handbook regarding entitlement at HHS once your in high school. The best play and since the beginning of time we've had kids coming into HHS. The parents know what it takes to play and what they are up against HHS. And guess what, they still sign their boys up to play! That's amazing.

 

What about the kids that play in the league and go to others schools. Shouldn't red devil parents be upset when a ftjfl player takes a spot at camp co? Or what if one of those ftjfl takes your kids slot at NCC. That could happen!
