Newport Central Catholic or Highlands?

Kept telling myself not to touch this thread but couldn't resist. Parents look at highschools for different reasons. Some look for an education, some look for athletics, some look for both and some just look for the best fit for their kid. I will say that a kid can get a good education at either school if they apply themselves, but if your looking education it's HHS. They have been tops in state in education for many years. If your looking sports? Really depends what sport you are looking at but since its a football thread, I'll go football. HHS wins this one again. Now if your chasing state championship rings either school would be fine but its HHS for me because of their success and national exposure. That's not a knock on NCC, hell I went their. I know nothing about Louisville Trinty education but I'd choose them for football over any one in the state if I was looking for football only. Just to much to compare at the high schools. JMO

With each post he displays more and more of his ignorance in all things HHS. Ignore him, he's not worth it.

Once again, you amuse me. Im sorry, i should have included your post, the one above i was referring to. I took for granted you were intelligent enough to figure it out. My fault, wont happen again.

Two points:

1. You're now the NCC version of UKfan.

2. I'll take 75's intelligence while stone drunk.

I'll try to put a positive spin on what was intended to be a divisive thread.

It's like going to Ruby's Steakhouse and deciding between Filet Mignon and Prime Rib -- can't go wrong with either choice.

If you have you kids go to one school or the other ONLY for the reason of sports IMO you are an awful parent. Yes I love sports and played year round my entire life, but there is more to selecting a school than sports. You find a school that provides the best fit for your child to grow, learn as much as possible, and become the best young adult that they can be.

Couldn't disagree more but that's another topic for another thread.

Thanks, I always thought I was pretty smart when I'm stone drunk, didn't know others picked up on it. :D
