Top 20 players in class of 2015

Featured Replies

One player who I dont see getting any pub is Tanner Johnson from Lex Cath. He will be very tough the next few years. He is a 6'5 knock down shooter. I would expect him to get some d1 looks, he has a very bright future ahead in the game of basketball. He looks to be getting stronger and improved ball handling and defense could take him along way. In the right system he can cause a head ache for the opposing team.

Let's be honest guys...after Bolden, Justice, Spalding, McDonald, and maybe 3 or 4 more kids there is a drop off in this class as far as talent goes. Those are the "ELITE" players. After that, you have a lot of VERY GOOD players. Big difference between the two, though.

But, is Spalding really that good right now? I know he has a ton of upside and ceiling, as he is tall, long, and athletic. But, he still has a lot to work on as well, correct? Definitely potential to be a top player in the class, but is he one of the actual 3 best at this very moment?

Biggest problem with Ray is Szabo didn't play him like he should've this past season. Seeing him against EYBL talent, yes he is that good and should be mentioned as a top 3 player.

He is listed as a top 100 player in the country for a reason.

Timmy Taylor by far top pg guard in class of 2015 hands down.

Timmy is a good PG, don't get me wrong. But he doesn't belong on this list. Not a good enough shooter, defender. I will say he is probably the best passer and can get to the lane against anybody

Timmy being behind Bolden and Justice isn't an insult either. Maybe Timmy can finally lead his team to at least a district title so he can prove just how good he is.
rebels got that locked up bruh

Ok, I'll take your word for it. Haven't seen him since last season, but he still looked very raw. Lots of kids from 35-40 down on those top 100 list are graded based on athleticism, some skill, and upside/ceiling.

Can't wait to see him play.

That's great! Good for him!

:D

I know. That's my whole point. :D

great player will get better and better

Tanner Johnson a "great player"? That is a stretch at this time. Sure he can knock down the three but still kinda only plays on one end of the floor, but a good shooter like he is can usually find a place somewhere. Actually I really like the Griffin kid on LexCath. He is a gritty tough player who just needs to get a little stronger

I like Jarod Griffin a lot. Played on the magic with Hagen and is just a solid all around player. Good athlete , ball handler, can knock down the 3 and get to the lane. He's also a very good defender. Very underrated player

Totally agree, very underrated. I would take a team full of players like Jarod, just good tough players.

Pelle was an amazing player I've heard people compare them together. Pelle had a better shot but I think by time millers senior year he will be close to as good as pelle was. If he puts the effort in

Billy Miller is a solid nky d3 player. But he's not going to be top 20 in his class in the state, and he's not going to be as good good as Pelle. Pelle was playing professional basketball at one point. He could literally win games by himself in d3. I don't think people get how good he was. Even in the grove. He could have played at a lot of d1 schools but wasn't given the chance because he played at silver grove.
