Adidas Invitational

Featured Replies

The NKY Bulldogs will be sending their U15 and U16 teams to Indy this week for the Adidas Invitational. There are over 100 teams per age group. I also saw where KY Elite, Louisville Magic, and TBC will be playing U15 there as well. Anyone else going to this event.

I think Hoop Dreams is sending all of their teams also. Their high school teams are great.

I wish I could make it. Went up a few years ago with Shabazz, Drummond, and the IU guys were entering their senior year.

High level of play.

I too went a few years ago when Robbie Stenzel was playing with the Shinning Stars and Vinny Zollo was playing with Indiana Elite. Got to spend time with GT too.

I was there the same year Clizzy went. I hope to make it back one day.

I just saw on Louisville Magic's Facebook page that the 17s weren't put in the Super Pool even though they are the back to back champs of that pool and they are playing off site this year as well. They'll be at the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club. I guess that's what happens when you leave Adidas for Under Armour. Such a dirty game sometimes.

It's Adidas world. They make the rules.

True. Still sorry though. I bet the Magic wish they hadn't paid that money already.

Good luck to the NKY Bulldogs. Probably see you there.

Love this event, hope to go next year. I've been for 5 years in a row. Some of the best in the country show for this event....even the Nike guys.

I'm sure I'll catch a few games this weekend.

Word is that Jaquan Lyle will be playing with Louisville Magic 17s. Him and Q together will be deadly. They are going to be hard to beat

They aren't in the Super Pool are they? They'll probably smash everybody they play won't they?

I saw a report that Lyle is injured and not playing?
