July 1, 201313 yr Author I had the ribeye and my bride had the fillet topped with shrimp. We were both very happy.

July 1, 201313 yr I may be in the minority but I think a great steak from Malone's is on par with Ruth's Chris...I can't really separate them as I LOVE them both. About the same $$$$ at either one.
July 1, 201313 yr Author And if you don't mind sharing, the bill amount was ______ ?:watching: $147 without tip. Salads, steaks, two sides and drinks.
July 1, 201313 yr $147 without tip. Salads, steaks, two sides and drinks. Mere pocket change for Watusi.
July 1, 201313 yr Good info. I owe the boys a NICE steak dinner for a job well done - price not an object. So, Ruth's Chris or The Precinct? Never been to either one.
July 2, 201313 yr Not a big fan. The place is historic and pretty cool but the food wasn't much when I ate there although it has been a while. It was nothing you couldn't get at any touristy spot IMO. It's not Ruth Chris' but the pimento cheeseburger is great in my opinion. It's a lunch place for me.
July 2, 201313 yr Author It's not Ruth Chris' but the pimento cheeseburger is great in my opinion. It's a lunch place for me. Like I said it has been a while. I may need to give it another shot.
July 2, 201313 yr Author $147 without tip. Salads, steaks, two sides and drinks. That was iced tea to drink. Alcohol would have been more.
July 2, 201313 yr Author Mere pocket change for Watusi. Again I wasn't counting cost on this one. I have to admit though that is out of character for me. We usually watch our spending.
July 2, 201313 yr Author In all honesty I left a $30 tip and walked out of the restaurant as happy as a clam. It really was a great evening.
