June 30, 201313 yr Took my wife on our 20th in Destin, we've been twice since then (Indy and DC.) I get the filet butterflied and all steaks are served on plates sizzling with melted butter. Be careful the plates are VERY hot. Very nice restaurant, so leave your overalls at home...:lol2: The plates are hot so you can finish cooking the steak. I always order mine medium rare and cut slices and lay them on the plate to cook. Love the place, have eaten at several. Maybe one day I'll take my adopted son PP to one since it is on his bucket list.

The Sand Gnats. We have seen them a few times. That is an old park with some character. Vinnies is on our list. The Crab Shack on Tybee Island is a favorite of ours. Our boys really like it.

July 1, 201313 yr Author Let me say it was FANTASTIC. If i have had a better steak i don't know when it was. The steaks were awesome and the sides were great also especially the sweet potato casserole. It was a beautiful evening and we walked River Street afterwards for a while which always renders a new experience or two.

Ruth's Chris is run of the mill businessmans special? Wow We visit Savannah often so we have sampled a lot of the local fare. This was something different for us.
July 1, 201313 yr Author The Pirate House in Savannah!!!!!! Not a big fan. The place is historic and pretty cool but the food wasn't much when I ate there although it has been a while. It was nothing you couldn't get at any touristy spot IMO.
