May 22, 201313 yr Dont feel bad, 2 years ago was the first time I had ever went. I dont think its that over priced, some things are some are no different than any other festival or fair. Its ok if you go with a group. Sadly I wont be going this year, I have 57 graduations to attend this weekend :isurrender:
May 22, 201313 yr Probably going some time on Saturday. I have been about 10 imes over the 35 years. It is over priced and crowded at certain (most) times, but we love the change of pace and doing something different.

May 22, 201313 yr What's it cost to get in the gates these days? I've not been to this event since moving away from Covington. It's free to go and walk around. Cost is in the parking and/or food. I don't find it to be *too* pricey considering: 1) It's gonna cost extra just to facilitate the festival. 2) It's gonna cost most/all vendors more than normal to prepare and serve their food and drink in a festival tent than it is going to cost to sell it out of their storefront. 3) You're paying a premium to have ALL of those restaurants with sample-sized portions all in one place all at one time.
