I just assumed you were drinking some of my kool aid again.

I'm hoping to head down Friday night....What kind of beverage selection do they normally have? When I've been in the past all I can ususally find is the generic grocery store stuff.
I saw Bells listed. I haven't had a bad thing from them. You don't like IPA's but what about double-IPA's? Their Two Hearted Ale is a personal favorite.

Bells Two Hearted is about the only IPA I've tried that I like.

Great list Colonel but you know the longest line is going to be full of rubes/lemmings who can't wait to get their mitts on the god-awful LaRosa's. "look honey, I'd told you they'd be here. Jackpot!"

I usually try to attend and it's always best when the Reds are on a homestand. The only thing I have an issue with is the location. It's so tight with vendors on both sides, when it was on Central you had so much more room to roam.

I love this event and try to attend every year. This year, it seems likely I'll be heading down on Saturday, but if the weather is as predicted it will be awfully crowded.

I don't find the event to be overpriced at all, and actually think this is the official kick off to summer in Cincinnati. One of our city's iconic events IMO.

That said, I do agree with Neerfan, Central Parkway was a better location because of the wider streets.

I think it's a nice way to try different foods. We stay away from anywhere we've been before. Should be a great weekend.

The lovely lady and I went over this evening and it was really crowded around the square, but as you went further east towards P & G it wasn't nearly as crowded and really pretty manageable. We actually sat at a table and enjoyed the food and beverages. We had a good time.

Funny stuff!

When the wife and I go to these things (never been to Taste of Cincy but go each year to the Greek Festival, Seafood fest and Italian fest at Newport, etc.), we go for the express purpose of getting something we can't get in Maysville or at the local Kroger.

My wife and I usually make it down. We usually enjoy just walking around, running into people we know, and checkout a few interesting food items.

Yesterday's weather was perfect for it.

Slid over there after the Reds game today. Had some good brisket and rib tibs from Pit to Plate or something like that. Might do the same tomorrow and try something else.

I made it over there yesterday. Great afternoon. Portions were a pretty good value for the money spent. 16 oz beers were 5 bucks. Hadn't been in a few years. I'd go back.

Haven't been in years. probably not this year either. I am just not fond of being in big crowds anymore.

Well we went yesterday. Crowd was overwhelming, but we survived it. Had a couple of good beers, only bought two food items. I really enjoyed the band that was playing on fountain square. Three Day Rule.
