Racke will probably start as the JV QB.

That just speaks to the talent then, as they apparently have no better upperclassmen according to you.

IMO only-

CCH Soph's to watch:

Darlington -RB

Dressman-QB

Shulte- OT

McGinness- WR

Timmerman-LB

Schwartz - S

Thorson- NT

Frosh to watch:

Vonhandorf- he will play QB from what I understand and if he plays to his potential he can be Mr Kentucky Football good - no kidding. Best Frosh QB in N Ky now, no doubt in my mind

Shelton- anywhere. Kid is a beast.

Best- RB, DB

Newman- S, WR

Pilger- DE

Kuhr -NT

Very talented overall Freshman class coming in. I predict great things for them this year.

Forgot a Freshman-Thiel. Tough kid- likely an LB.

Two kids I am interested in.

Cole Von Handorf at CCH(although I hear different stories on if he is playing football or not)

Frosh QB at Conner whose name escapes me. I'm told he has a strong chance to start varsity as a sophomore.

Forgot about Von Handorf, have yet to see him play, but I heard he is special.

Junior QB Heflin is a stud but is moving to WR.

Glad to hear Heflin is moving to WR, he is way to good an athlete to stand on the sideline holding a clipboard, he also played some pretty wicked safety back in the day....just sayin

Racke is the best Freshman QB!

Man, you guys must have an awful coaching staff out there. You have the best qb, ol, rb, wr, dl, and lbs. By my count you have no less than 5 heavily recruited kids. Yet, you are mediocre at best according to past records.

9-4 team last year that was picked to finish last in district last year. :D

Let hold off on Mr Football talk.

Have heard good things about all the income Soph's and freshman, but I have seen a lot kids have great freshman years or be studs in middle school.

They get to jv or varsity level and never pan out.

I have been around the CovCath program for many years now and heard about the second coming every couple years and not one have panned out as well as first thought.

I hope you are right about all these kids, but lets see them play at the next level first.

C'mon man with all the Mr. Football stuff! Additonally, there is possibility Cole won't even play FB after this season and focus primarily on basketball. Not sure how you assess he's the best QB in NKY as that would assume you've seen all the QB's in NKY and just because you haven't heard of name out there doesn't mean you start etching names on the Mr. Kentucky award but like you've said it's your opinion which your entitled to.

Let it play out as there are alot of kids missing off this list but I won't start handing out Best this and Best that just yet.

Agreed. Crazy talk. Sadly an adult told a friend of mine that if Cole doesn't win Mr Basketball then CCH will have failed him.

Crazy.

Guys- read slowly. I said, "if he plays to his potential, he can be Mr Football good". Again "Mr Football good". I didn't say he would be Mr Football - I don't speak in absolutes like some on here.

I have seen the majority of 8th grade (Frosh to be) QB's up close and in person in games-so yes, this is what I base my opinion on.

True that there a lot of unknowns still in Cole's future- how basketball and football co-exist in his life is a big one, but it will be fun to watch regardless.

I'm pretty sure the point of this whole thread was to bring up various boys at the incoming Frosh and Soph level who look to have a bright future. I happen to know CCH so that's the boys I'm discussing. I don't think there's anything "over the top" with what I've said- I don't think I've overstated anyone's abilities. So why don't you talk about the kids on teams that you think will contribute instead of poor mouthing me for picking the ones I list?

If they just has a 6a private school in NKY, they would be the Trinity.

Bluedad

Glad you mentioned Ryan Kuhr. The kid is a beast.
